Roles and Responsibilities of Head coach

• Prepare, Manage, lead and deliver our junior lessons/program, including direction of assistant coaches
• Align with the facility management on growth and progress of the academy
• Champion and lead advance badminton programs in the club for players at all levels and ages
• Oversee the development and creation of program and marketing materials for badminton skills programs, with support from Administrative Staff
• Review and monitor training and practice sessions and provide quarterly evaluations or when necessary
• Create a positive learning environment for coaches, elite players and recreational players to improve their skills and abilities
• Oversee coaching staff and evaluate their performance
• Lead group and individual badminton lessons: develop and implement new training strategies, tactics, and schedules
• Motivate and encourage players at training and/or competition. This includes being an active and inspiring role model for the sport of badminton
• Provide feedback to players, family members, and management as required
• Target players to participate and win USAB tournaments and improve their ranking in Junior National tournaments

 Roles and Responsibilities of Assistant coach 

• Provide badminton coaching to teams, groups or individual students
• Feeding and sparing with players
• Perform physical fitness training sessions as per the program
• Deliver lesson plans for private lessons and group lessons
• Prepare students for badminton competition
• Assist students in the planning of their competitive schedule
• Provide feedback to students on their performance during training
• Participate in any training, information sessions and staff meetings
• Observe and analyze skills during lessons and at badminton tournaments
• Complete administrative duties as required
